I went ashore today as were in Narvik. I left alan sleeping.When I came back and I joined him for a coffee and we got talking to a gentleman who went on  a trip last  night to see the northern lights. His pictures were far superior to ours. The smart phones of today are terrific cameras.
Managed to see the northern lights tonight by a fluke.Some ladies near by were scanning the sky with their smart phones and picked them up.
I pulled in over 100 emails again. dread to think what my phone bill might be when i get home.
