Red boots for Rory

So wet today we had no inclination to get out, but we did take J’s sister out for a jolly nice birthday Sunday dinner.
We met Rory yesterday at the Reserve at Staveley, he looks dressed for winter but we learnt a boot is, in fact, to protect his damaged metal foot - the other one to balance him up. He originally sparked my interest as a potential Silly Saturday blip, but ironically the boots are actually very sensible. He seemed to be doing pretty well.
