Sand pit

Dropped the dogs off at day care again today so the gardeners could get on. Collected them and headed over to the post office to collect a parcel only to find that they had changed the hours so they shut at 2pm now, when you work full time how are you meant to collect stuff. With this and them going on strike I wish there was another way to send post as the customer service is getting worse. Managed to get the order from Screwfix to take to Brum to fix a few things in mum’s new house. Got an email from the solicitor to confirm they are going to reduce their costs after the balls up last week. They also sent over loads of confirmation emails with how much money we were getting back. They also informed me that we should have gone into the house before the move to check everything was in working order. I missed this small paragraph at the bottom of a letter so we wouldn’t be able to claim the boiler back. Would have been nice if they verbally told you this as well, especially as they know we live in Scotland where the rules are different. Still, we did start to watch Elvis tonight but got too tired to finish it. Gardeners have got on well today and the dogs enjoyed having a good niff in the new sand pit they have created for them.
