Supervising

Got up this morning and took the dogs for a walk in the lane behind mums house. At the end of it there was meant to be a public footpath. Kilda wasn’t happy about being on the lead with her brother but we did find a nice field at the end of the public footpath. Couldn’t spent long exploring as I needed to get back for the BT engineer arriving. Just about managed to have team calls on the slow Wi-Fi in the dining room but it was a struggle. 1pm arrived and there was no BT engineer, called up Sky and it seems that the request was never submitted for this morning. Raised a complaint about this and a BT engineer has been arranged from Friday morning to come out and look at the incoming phone line. Did managed to get the broadband download increased and for a good price in the end. Also booked the car service, earliest date was 25 November and that was without a courtesy car, the wait was into December if I wanted one of those. Got everything packed and in the car for when J returned from Bristol and we left mum for the long journey home. Hit some rush hour traffic which wasn’t helped by the fact we forgot to pack the sandwiched Darwin helped make at lunchtime. Wasn’t prepared to pay £9 for a burger so an M&S sandwich had to do. Got back around 10.30 in the end.
