A concert for Paul.

Today was all about the the event mentioned above. I booked tickets for us to see Faustus nearly 2 years ago but due to the pandemic it was rescheduled twice then, completely unexpectedly, one of the band, Paul Sartin passed.

He was a huge part of the local folk music scene not to mention throughout the country. Tonight's concert was arranged by the Whitchurch Folk Club and more nationally important musicians than you could imagine gave performances.

It was a very moving evening including performances by two of his three sons, one of whom filled the space, left by his dad, in Faustus. His third son was assisting with sound and light.

Paul was clearly in the room!
