Growing up..........
..........there are a pair of these young cygnets and the last time I saw them they were quite tiny but are growing fast. This one had been having his morning dip all on his own whilst his mother and sibling were grazing quite a way away. He still has water spots on his feathers and a few minutes later started to shake himself and flap his wings and preen himself vigourously.
I was so thrilled to learn that one of my daughter's - Anni (BikerBear) - photographs had been chosen by an American Magazine to feature on the cover of their May issue. The request came right out of the blue some while ago and I think I'm almost as chuffed as she!!! It's their Wedding Anniversary today so it was a nice present, especially for her!
It's a beautiful morning here, bright blue sky and the temperature around 15 deg C - will be quite a change for a Bank Holiday if it stays this way!
Enjoy the day!
