Busy Day

Sundays near or during hunting season seem to be the busiest in our house. Today was no different.

The flowers and landscaping was cut and hauled away. The deck planters were removed and put away in the barn for the winter. The chairs and patio umbrellas stored above the garage. It looks so bare around the house now. I’m content to have it all done, but not looking forward to the next season to come.

Kaylee and Bj did some target practice in the field. Kaylee is excited to hunt this year and Bj is thrilled to share his love of hunting with her. Mace does not like the gunshots and he stuck very close to me while they were out back.

Had a nice dinner at Mom and Dads. Thankful for them as we were beat from working all day. It was nice to have a home cooked meal without the added work. I’m going to miss them terribly when they head south for the winter!
