Fluffy Coltsfoot

I'm not too keen on travelling out and about on a sunny Bank Holiday - too many folks around for me!

So it was a quick and early trip to Trentham Gardens, as I knew it would be busy today. As I was leaving, there were queues forming to get into the gardens!!

Beautiful day so far, light was lovely and lots of photo opportunities, but I can come back tomorrow (when it's quieter) and linger...

I've seen my first baby birds on the lake - new Canada geese goslings - yey!! I was getting rather jealous of other folks' shots that I'd seen on blip. I've put a shot in my blipfolio.

But my pic for today is the humble coltsfoot as they start to seed, this may not be around tomorrow, blown away on the wind...

Their seed heads are quite different to dandelions.
