The new St Mary's

After the earthquake 11 years ago the Catholic church was shut because of risk as was our presbyterian one. Sadly, our Presbyterian one was sold and is being turned into a house, but the Catholics have rebuilt and this new one was opened two weeks ago it really is a lovely building.
Grey old day here but did get washing dried this morning and now its raining
Didnt have to work at the railway today they had enough helpers, so I treated myself. I went down and rode the train down to the craft market for a look around. I then went for a ride in the engine which was fun and a trip on the Model T Railcar (the only one in the world) The kid was certainly coming out in me. It has been a holiday weekend the last before Christmas so there were lots out and about
Home then and lit the fire and read a book. A nice rest after my two busy days down there
