Honpukuji Water Temple

The Water Temple was designed by world famous architect, Tadao Ando. The roof is this lovely lotus pond and you walk down the stairway, which cuts through the middle of the pond, to the hall below.

A lovely day spent on Awaji- shima with plenty of sightseeing and delicious food.
