Welcome Aboard

The romance of a cruise.  Departed Houton at 13.17 hrs and we were greeted by the sweeping vistas of the former naval base at Lyness.  The buffet was cold meat pie and broon sauce.

Whilst still ashore (pre-cruise) we danced Dora Connolly's Jig / Recumbent Stone / Caddam Wood / Polharrow Burn / Bees of Maggieknockater etc.  It was a blisteringly fast etc.

Currently in the queue for the gaming tables and as part of my evening wear I've starched by dickie.  It always brings a tear to my eye, and two lumps to my throat.

The cabaret was Madam Gazzara and her performing dogs.  It took three buckets of iced water to bring the act to an end.

There was no sign of Minnie Budget.  Is it safe to come out yet ?
