Boss' birthday

On what was forecast to be the last dry day for a good while, all the solar lamps outside had the batteries removed for the winter, got a good clean,  and were given a bit of TLC.
The telephone in the picture was placed ready for Halloween, it makes a ghostly, moaning sound when anyone approaches or when the receiver is picked up. I'll turn it on in a few days.
One of her favourite dinners, penne with crispy prosciutto, peas and cream, followed by a rich chocolate cake dessert did the trick.

Ah well...
