End of an era

Wee bit of a cheat as it’s a photo of a postcard. However it’s a hundred years old and the house the children are standing outside was my Auntie’s. I’m her Power of Attorney and have just completed the sale of the house.
I’m sad and relieved in equal measures, our family have lived in and around the village for the past 200 years, and this was our final tie, but my Auntie now lives in a care home which brings huge costs., so needs must.
