Down in the Woods Today

Not for the teddy bear's picnic today though, more a question of me being down on my bum on the wet leaves. I had a torch with me but what a shame I didn't take my macro lens. I saw a variety of mushrooms but I liked this tiny one which was all on its own in the leaf litter.

It's good to see that the tory party have now voted in the person they probably should have put in seven weeks ago. What a waste of time, not to mention all the disruption! Apparently Rishi Sunak will be the youngest PM for two hundred years. I'm not a conservative voter but he has my respect and I'm sure he'll do a good job even if we might not enjoy the measures he'll need to take to get things straight.
