DUNLIN & FRIEND

I think these are mostly dunlin, but I also think there's a grey plover, slightly blurry, on the wing about halfway up the photo and left of centre. I'd headed to the beach at Teesmouth to blow a headache away. It hasn't really worked so it's an early night for me but I'm glad I went anyway. Just after I took this I noticed that the tide was still coming in quite fast so I beat a hasty retreat as it's a long, very flat, beach.
