Rubbish retrieval

What can I say? It was a waste of a day. My one and only goal was thwarted by a series of circumstances and now I have to find an alternative way to complete the task. It was however, lovely weather, and an early evening stroll to the nearest bakkal (mini market) for some Efes beer to drown my frustrations inadvertently gave me my Blip for the day which I like not only as a visual metaphor but also for it's textures, shapes and shadows. 

Once home, bringing balance to my day was my neighbour Arife whose kindness brought me dinner. My, but she's a great cook. Then, just to prove that after rain must come sunshine, I had a lovely long (90 minute) video call  with mbfiatw. 

All is well.
