A busy day at bowls

Cardiff Devils finished their three days of matches last night in Scotland with a win in overtime. The last 5 mins of the game saw Cardiff draw level, go in front and then for Fife to draw at 46 seconds from normal time before hitting the winner in a sudden death playoff.

Today was Bowls day with two matches. The first match was against a Hertford touring team where we won in a close fought game by one point. Playing the second game in the afternoon with out a break meant our triples team began to run out of steam towards the end of the game. We had held our own until the last four ends when tiredness and a lapse in concentration saw us finish up five points behind.

Today’s Blip is from the morning match against Hertford who were a nice bunch of people.
