Grey Heron

Bit of a disappointing day. There were 3 heron, the older female was there but the youngest one was not. There is a lot of work going on at the children's play area. They were driving sleepers in and using a pneumatic drill which was too noisy for them. The young one flew over had some food then flew straight back. The older female was hiding in the trees along the side of the loch and the male flew over briefly, although he had the most to eat.  Even the crows were subdued. There was nothing around in the afternoon apart from a crow at the far end. I will need to try and get there early tomorrow before the work starts. The photos will be poorer as it will be darker but that doesn't matter.
