My View
Went to see a play tonight, 'White Crows' by Donald Freed. It was about Adolf Eichmann's involvement in the Holocaust, and no, it wasn't as depressing as that sounds. It was as hard-hitting as you'd expect though. There was a talk after the play with the writer, the director and also James Cromwell(!). It was to do with the relationship between theatre and politics; it became mindblowingly deep about 30 seconds in. People were pretty eager to hear about Cromwell, some woman critisised him for 24. He said he wasn't too happy to be associated with it because of the way the show depicts torture (don't watch it myself). Couldn't help but picture him in L.A. Confidential, awesome film. He seemed like an immensely likeable guy!
This is taken from my back-garden looking through a gap in the wall (it's one of those brick walls with a regular pattern of rectangular gaps) into the street. Acts as a bit of a weird viewfinder (added to by being out of focus). The patterned area a third of the way up is a neighbour's roof. Took all kinds of weird pictures through the wall. Once again the neighbours are probably disturbed by my lurking behind a wall with large lens, pointing it through the gaps.
