Making bearfriends

At our fortnightly HE group we made 'bears'.
I kind of made up a template (x5), took it along, as well as piles of fabric scraps, needles and thread, and buttons and sat while at least 12 bears were made... It was fun, and really hard work. I don't know why it didn't occur to me (to begin with) to double up the thread and tie a not, after about 20 (million) requests to rethread it finally dawned on me...
The youngest independent bearmaker was 4, the oldest 49.
Fun, but totally exhausted at the end!
