Cosy on the Sofa

Merlin’s having a cosy evening on the sofa. He cut his foot on his walk this morning so we’ve spent the day trying to keep it bandaged and stop blood going over the floor - with mixed success.

Andy has been finishing the painting of the kitchen and utility room but has to go to London tomorrow as he has broken his glasses and needs them to be fixed. It’s a bit of a journey from here but his optician friend he has known since childhood takes care of his eye testing so it’s also a good opportunity for them to catch-up with each other.

Meanwhile I try to ride out a particularly challenging period at work. Nearly an entirely new but much smaller team around me, and I’m trying to take it all in and work out where I fit in. My working landscape has changed considerably in the last 4 months.
