Still in a corner

Because yesterday was Labour Day, I was not at work. Labour Day is a public holiday to mark the importance in our society of those who contribute their labour. Today I was back at work. Some confusion resulted in an appointment time being given to someone, who actually is coming tomorrow and it was too late to fill the time with someone else.

Daughter C came to ours to pick up her new iMac which I had collected from Ubertec on my way home. That resulted ina lengthy visit with lots of talk, so no run today. Not even a walk.

Just went out the back to where three alstroemira are growing in a pot in a corner of the bricked 'patio'. They had come here from the apartment where they had been in a pot in one corner of the deck. Perhaps that is why they chose to grow strong and healthy and pretty.
