Silly sand

Grandma got her 'scary sand' for her birthday. We did lots of experimenting with it and decided it really wasn't scary but it was a bit silly and actually really rather cool...

Yogi was very impressed with its ability to stay dry and to form shapes underwater that completely crumbled on reaching the surface.

We talked about the how and the why, and then we tried with ordinary sand - which just got horrible and soggy...,
