Off the meter: electrical and pump repair…
Easing my way to posting an image after a week away. I had to go into hospital for an over night stay in order to have a PFO Closure, which is a procedure for closing a hole in my heart. The hole was discovered earlier in the year, and the procedure to repair it was supposed to be done a couple of months ago, but due to the number of COVID hospitalisations it was postponed.
During the last week we had staff away on holidays, and another staff member had her own health issues, so in order not to get behind, I changed days around to have days off to go to hospital. It was a tight!
Then, this week (today) we had the cafe and it’s entire building close in order to rebuild the electrical infrastructure at the landlord’s behest. When it became clear that they didn’t give a shit about our potential stock losses, we had to scramble to make good our contingency plans to protect our business. We ended up buying a generator to keep the fridges running! Worth the outlay as we now have way to protect our stock from the inevitable summer blackouts.
The image is some of the meters from there old meter box, dating back to the 50’s-60’s
