Fence

This is the fence that separates my back yard from the next-door-neighbor's yard. We were looking forward to a nice summer this year; spending time at home and enjoying the peace an quiet of this small town nestled in the hills next to the river.
We found out today that the guy who lived next door has gotten out of jail.
While he hasn't bothered us directly since he was a teenager, we will, none the less, now have the increase in traffic, noise, yelling and visits to the area by unsavory characters.
Our expectation is that he will go back to his old small-time-hood ways and be arrested again. Our hope is that it will happen sooner rather than later.
