Autumn colours

Another bonus day for weather and fabulous light. Too good to miss the autumn colours at the Bluebell Arboretum.

Their Aceretum is a stunning and developing feature. However, it’s  just a delight to wander among the vivid colours of all the trees in this peaceful place. 

I resisted the temptation to buy a tree. One day I’ll succumb - and then worry where I could put it.

If you’re Midlands based, please don’t miss this wonderful place, just off the M42 and between Ashby de La Zouch and Calke Abbey.
