Mycena.....

I think it's a milk-drop mycena? Anyway, I wasn't meant to be photographing fungi today.

We had planned a day out in Buxton for my other half's birthday, with a visit to the second hand book fair and lunch out. The torrential rain made that a bit difficult. We did attempt the drive and after going through several flooded areas of the main route we turned back.

A quick rethink had us going for a meal at Trentham Gardens and a short stroll afterwards. This is where I had the chance to photograph fungi (again....!) By this point the weather had completely changed and the afternoon was warm and sunny.
