Arbutus flowers
The tiny creamy blossoms of the strawberry tree - Arbutus Unedo or Caithne in Irish. The fruit, red circular spiky berries, usually come out at the same time as the flowers but I've not seen any yet.
Robert and Finola to lunch -they are just back from adventures in Canada and we hadn't seen them since going to New Zealand, so lots to catch up with.
And I had a wonderful surprise in the post - a turquoise beret to replace the one taken by the fairies the other day! It was from a blipper - I suspected the wrong one to start with but think I have thanked the correct one now! The enclosed note was cryptic! I shall be sporting it in my next well exploration on Friday. So thoughtful, thank you G :)
