River Medway at Allington

In the late afternoon sun

Plans didn’t, well, go to plan today. So we implemented plan X, which was made up on the spur of the moment. We got out this afternoon to pick up a thermal curtain help cut any draughts from the garage door into the hall.

From there it was a short drive to pick up another batch of pickling onions. I think have enough now.

Then on to Allington to walk along the Medway, always a pleasant, flat stroll especially near the lock and marina.

Collected a pack of free range sausages from Waitrose for tea. Not what was planned originally but obviously part of Plan X. And an umbrella and an autumn wreath to hang on the front door. Plan X seemed to work well.
