12 or 144

It’s our 12th wedding anniversary today (or 144th monthiversary, if you prefer).

We awoke in our big beach hut to a lovely sight of the sun shining a torch through the grey clouds.

We checked out at 9:30am and went for an explore or Hengistbury Head further east from where we stayed. We enjoyed a walk up the hill to enjoy the panoramic views.

For our anniversary lunch we stumbled across a lovely restaurant in Avon Beach near Christchurch: The Noisy Lobster. Really excellent food and just the special lunch we were hoping for.

After lunch we headed home, nicely refreshed from a weekend by the sea.
