Footstool for a Faery?

Or perch for a Pisky?
This frilly thing, with some pals, has made a surprise appearance in the garden, I’m used to duller growths taking up too mush room,  but then obviously I’m not a fun guy to be with ;-))   (Hydnangiaceae apparently)
