Lyveden New Bield
Took advantage of the sunshine today, dusted down the M3 soft-top and went out for a drive in the countryside - ended up here.
As the National trust says:
Set in the heart of rural Northamptonshire, Lyveden is a remarkable survivor of the Elizabethan age.
Begun by Sir Thomas Tresham to symbolise his Catholic faith, Lyveden remains incomplete and virtually unaltered since work stopped on his death in 1605
New Bield roughly means new build somewhat odd seeing as it's 400 years old.
Some cloning in Photoshop to remove the odd (as in not many) visitor, ND4 grad to reduce the brightness in the sky and that's about it.
