Peñiscola

Eventful day today. Early start for us as we were meeting son no 3 in Castellon (about an hour from Valencia) where he’s working as a teaching auxiliary. We visited his school and the flat he’s about to leave (moving into a new flat tomorrow) and we helped him set up a Spanish bank account. After lunch we took the train, bus and taxi (what a palaver) to and from Peñiscola (memorable name!) where apparently Game of Thrones was filmed. Beautiful town (at least the old part is). Quick swim in the bay (fab) followed by a walk around the old town/castle ramparts and then we had tapas as we watched the sun setting. Son no 3 got off the train at Castellon and we’re now back in our flat in Valencia. Cream crackered.
