Two canals and the Kelpies

A late afternoon/evening/night recce with the Go4 starting at Falkirk High and walking to the Wheel along the Union Canal,  and then following the Forth and Clyde Canal to the Kelpies. They usually go through 7 colour changes in 15 minutes, this week they are permanently blue to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Scottish Canals.
We were the sole passengers on the train back to Glasgow and the amiable conductor entertained us with his stories of the Ramblers club he runs for ScotRail staff based at Queen Street.
