They've arrived!

I saw them in Scotland last week and today, I spotted them near home. They're flying round in skitty flocks but I did see a group of them sitting in a hawthorn tree demolishing berries a bit further up the moors from where we were.  I also came across another red grouse in a tree. This one was eating berries which is maybe why I've seen two recently when they're generally on the ground.
