A thrush with rowan berries

Lovely illustration from “The diary of an Edwardian lady” by Edith Holden. This page from her diary of 1906 is in the chapter
on late August. As you can see the rowan leaves are still green.
I have been try to get a photo of the local blackbirds enjoying a feast of rowan berries
without success so using this drawing instead.
