Up a bit, left a bit ....
On top of the world - that's just what it feels like to be on top of the Long Mynd on a beautiful day like today. T went flying, of course, but as the wind wasn't that strong no records were broken or dramatic distances flown - We sat out and ate our lunch in the gorgeous sunshine, surrounded by beautiful scenery and with lovely people. We watched two of the Gyro pilots from last evening take off for their flight down to Haverfordwest and then up to Caernarvon and back to the Mynd. I've flown in helicopters in Australia but never in a Gyro gyrocopter - the gyro sounded very noisy.
After lunch T went back for some more flying and I went walking over the hills. There were lots of people out enjoying the super weather and the wild ponies were in evidence getting quite close to the people having picnics. A really bold pony was standing right by a family hoping that some titbits might come his way.
What a beautiful day it has been and now I'm home I'd better get out in the garden and do a bit.
Hope everyone has had a great Bank Hol weekend?
