A Second First Visit

Dear O'H dear and The Normals,

We went into the centre of Christchurch today for lunch and a wander. It has been 20 years since I was last here which was before the earthquake. I know my memory has faded (many brain cells were sacrificed for nights out in my twenties) but there was absolutely nothing familiar about it. Although I knew it would look really different, it still came as a surprise. I really love how it has been rebuilt. There are lots of lovely quirky buildings and the river area and the memorial are beautiful.

Lil Dude was all over his naps today so he was a very happy camper. He started blowing raspberries yesterday and is VERY pleased with his newly acquired skill. Baby happiness is very contagious. Something I am happy to catch any day.
