Too long no see

how can it have been
more than ten years since last time—
loads of catching up

We were amazed to realise that it had been more than ten years since last time we'd met, but that's life... My cousin Fabien, his wife Stéphanie and their son Célestin have come for a bit of holidays in Brittany. As the campground they are on at the moment is about an hour and a half from where we live, I proposed that I should go and meet them, as they have had a long journey to come from Dunkirk.

We spent a few great hours, with non-stop conversations ranging from family news to current affairs, rap music and touristic tips. An amazing day, which makes me wonder even more how it can have been so long since last time, when Fabien and Nicolas were the cousins I saw the most of when I was a kid!
