2860. Rachel McLean

This is Rachel McLean who has just installed a shop-based work of art in the High Street in Perth.
I’ve been watching it being finished for a few weeks now and they had a press gathering this morning to officially open it.  It will be open to the public tomorrow so I just go in and take a look.  She’s very “Disney-Horror” and apparently her main medium is film.  The installation is part of a temporary set up for Jupiter + and they are going to be doing film and media sessions for young people in the rooms above the installation.
It’s good to see stuff like this happening in Perth and it adds something different to the High Street which is full of empty shops, so full marks to them for making use of the space.

Meeting my youngest for coffee and then he’s joining hubby and I for lunch, so should be a pleasant day, well apart from the rain!
