They have arrived

My youngest daughter came to spend the day with me and we were fascinated to see how quickly the birds have found my bird feeders. Before the starlings took over I had about ten goldfinches, a robin, several sparrows and, as always, a couple of magpies and pigeons. Lovely to sit and watch them. Back to the doctor’s tomorrow as I haven’t yet managed to shake off this wretched chest infection.
