Pollok pond
The weather was unusually warm today and I set out for a run around Pollok Park unwittingly overdressed. I wrapped my fleece around my waist and ran in a T-shirt as if it was summer. With several stops to chat I eventually tallied 7k. The blip is the small kidney shaped pond in Pollok Park which don’t visit often enough.
After the usual admin, and then lunch I spent most of the afternoon reading, currently Rose Tremain’s Restoration which features badgers. The protagonist insists he and his household keep warm by wearing fur tabards made from badger skins complete with snouts. He’s so pleased with them that he gifts one to Charles 11 who is unimpressed.
