A walk in the park

A summers day in late October. Brilliant blue skies and a balmy southerly breeze. 21c. While other trees are showing their autumn colours, these magnificent oaks barely register any change.

This is not right and I know one day doesn’t in itself mean anything. This whole month has been warmer than normal. Will COP27 make any difference. One of the sponsors, is Coca-cola. Why?

Our PM is not going. Why? I know he has much in his in-tray, but surely his absence sends the wrong message to the world and to people in this country too.

Thank you for your continued good wishes for our recovery. We felt fit enough to spend a little time at the allotment. Very warm too. It’s almost straight for the winter. (Winter?). The last bits will be the most challenging.
