Island hopping

This morning, along with the lovely Lucy and her human, I made the very short 5-minute ferry crossing from Mull to the island of Ulva. The three of us were there to attend an informal harvest service in the old island church.  Although somewhat dilapidated and badly in need of some money being spent on it, (visibly demonstrated by the strategically placed buckets to catch the drips) the church is still used for occasional services such as this. The church is nearly two hundred years old, having been built in 1828 to a design by Thomas Telford and the original two-level pulpit can still be seen (extra) but is no longer safe to use
