Fruiting Late This Year

Can’t believe it’s October and we are still getting strawberries..ok they are Alpine Strawberries so maybe more suited for the cold but I don’t think I have ever seen them fruiting this late in the year.

After work, I tried to make the most of the lighter nights before the clocks go back on Saturday night by taking Jack for a walk around the village in the company of Alison and her pony Billy. It was a lovely (warm) evening and we all enjoyed being out and about. Both ponies were very well behaved even when passed by a mad delivery driver clearly breaking the speed limit for a central village road!
