Bank Holiday Sunday joy

Sorry, my blipping friends, I couldnt find just one picture that I was happy with. We had a fantastic day - good wood walk, found a rope for boy swinging, practiced balancing and generall chewed the fat. They are very funny those three boys, they go tearing off into the distance and then just wander along chatting about goodness knows what. Although I do know George and Will are discussing Skylander detail here.

Then back for lunch and giant chess and a fire in the garden, a really lovely and relaxed way to spend the afternoon. I completely hammered Hannah at chess (2-2) and had to pay out 60p for children to set the board up again.

Then because tomorrow (well todayas I write this but you know what I mean) is our friend Katie's birthday who is currently living in the US of A (but otherwise she would also have been there) we recorded some truly splendid videos of Hannah and I singing Happy Birthday and then generally chatting. We sent them to her and she said we made her cry. Probably pity or something.
