Just when you think plants have finished blooming they can still cause surprises. In a normal year the first frost would have seen off the Dahlias by now, but with warm overnight temperatures they continue to bloom, albeit less vigorously. A good day to walk by the sea in the sunshine but with a fresh breeze.
