IGPOTY

After doing some more admin this morning, I went to Sheringham Park to see the International Garden Photographer of the Year exhibition. Some really lovely photos on display. I then had a wander taking some photos in the warm sunshine (so weird walking at the end of October with no coat or fleece and sleeves rolled up). I've added a collage in extras of some autumnal scenes. I liked these seed heads and was playing with the new masks again. 

Covid Update
The weekly ONS infection survey of private households up to w/e 17th Oct showed UK cases pretty steady in the last week. There's an estimated 1 in 30 with the virus in England (steady); 1 in 35 in Scotland (steady); 1 in 35 in Wales (down), and 1 in 35 in NI (up slightly). There are two new variants currently circulating in England (not id as variants of concern) named BQ.1 and XBB (the recent rise of cases and hospitalisations in Germany could be down to BQ.1 or BQ.1.1). An inhalable vaccine is being trialled in China.
