Belmont Abbey
A few hours spent until early afternoon moving outdoor furniture from the neighbours house to ours that we're buying as it saves him storing. After a chat over coffee, and being a lovely sunny afternoon I wanted to get out and went for a drive.
I stopped at Belmont Abbey (1859AD), The Church of St Michael & All Angels, Herefordshire, England. It's a Catholic Benedictine monastery that forms part of the English Benedictine Congregation. It stands on a small hill overlooking the city of Hereford to the east, with views across to the Black Mountains in Wales to the west.
It's a big place and in a lovely setting and the autumn colours really set it off.
