Some Trees.

Some trees go out in a blaze of glory, others hang on for grim death.

Dull wet start, but beautiful later this afternoon. J gave the new lawn a first. cut, he left it longer and it looks lovely, like a plush carpet.

Emmeline is 6 today, we did the usual singing Happy birthday on FaceTime. Jodie is there with her three, they'd been out for a bike ride round the perimeter of a local country park, and were heading off to a circus this afternoon. They were a very lively excited bunch! J said he was glad he wasn't there. Her other Nana looked shell shocked. Jodie's three boys are full of life and the bike ride had done nothing to tire them out. I love the chaos of kids having a ball.
